OUR HISTORY
Sister Jean Webster
Jean Webster attributed her inspiration to feed people from an experience observing a homeless man searching through trash for something to eat. She bought a meal for him at a nearby pizza restaurant, and invited him to her home for dinner the next day. She said that she felt called by God to start a mission of feeding people, and made it known that she would feed anyone who stopped by.
